This site is intended to provide basic information and a central "registry" for the private BGP peering between a bunch of network engineers with too much time on our hands...
If you want to join us, grab an unused private ASN by checking the list below, send me a message on G+ (Rob Gilreath), DM me on twitter (@robg485), or email me and I'll get you in contact with a minimum of two people on the map to peer with.
A little note on security... While I hope that everyone that joins has pure intentions, there is of course the possibitly that someone may be naughty within this group. As such, each participant should be appropriately protecting their network.
Because most major ISP's don't yet support it, most of us are using Hurricane Electric tunnels to reach the IPv6 internet. HE will allocate you a /64 and a /48 upon request. After getting on the IPv6 internet, IPv6 GRE tunnels are created between AS's wishing to peer. To easily avoid recursive routing, I suggest using the HE IPv6 tunnel address as your tunnel source. Although, you're free to use any part of your /48 or /64 as well.
We even have a standard for peer link addresses, and although like most standards, not everyone is following it yet; AS65017 to AS65015 were the early adopters even though is was written by AS65192. Please follow it when addressing your links. You can find it here.

Please note I'm not a web dev. This site is lame, I know it's lame and honestly I don't care. :) It's hand coded in notepad, besides it's just a bunch of packets to me after all...
